OCFA Fire Captain Eric Weuve
With great sadness, the men and women of the Orange County Fire Authority announce that Fire Captain Eric Weuve has passed away. Fire Chief Jeff Bowman is requesting that all agencies and dignitaries attending the services register with us (not for the general public), so that we may accommodate you and the apparatus you plan to bring to honor our fallen brother.

The service will be held at Pier Plaza - 21073 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach, CA on December 19, 2016 at 1100 hrs.

Fire Captain Eric Weuve's celebration of life event will take place on Monday, December 19, at 11 a.m. at Pier Plaza - 21073 Pacific Coast Highway, Huntington Beach. Fire service personnel are requested to arrive by 10 a.m. A reception will be walking distance from the celebration immediately following. Eric was a 16-year fire service veteran, who served most of his career at the OCFA and prior, with the City of Huntington Beach Fire Department. His last assignment was at OCFA Station 64 in Westminster. Eric is survived by his wife Melanie, father James, mother Ingrid, son Parker, and daughter, Brooklyn. On duty uniformed personnel are requested to wear Class B uniforms and mourning bands.
The members of the Orange County Fire Authority are deeply appreciative of the kindness and support of so many at this difficult time.
Registration is not for the general public, thank you.
Eric's parents have asked that in lieu of flowers, people make donations to the Eric Weuve Family Trust Fund which has been opened by OCFA Benevolent. Donations can be made in the form of cash, credit card, or check*. (Donations to the fund are not tax deductible)
